Open Courthouse Sunday, April 8th
The Greater Litchfield Preservation Trust welcomes the public to tour and inspect the former Litchfield County Courthouse on Sunday, April 8th, from 1-5 p.m.
Members of the trust will be there to welcome people, to guide them, and to answer questions. Also, visitors will be able to see conceptual plans for altering the interior and the rear of the building in order to repurpose the courthouse for the Litchfield town hall. Those plans can also be viewed on the Trust’s website: http://www.litchfieldpreservation-ct.org.
The 1888 courthouse building is the latest purchase of the Greater Litchfield Preservation Trust whose primary purpose is to maintain the architecture and distinctive character of Litchfield.
