“The GLPT is posting the foregoing Litchfield Courthouse Reuse Study.   Funding for the project was provided by matching grant funds from the Community Investment Act of the State of Connecticut, administered by the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and the State Historic Preservation office (SHPO) and the Seherr-Thoss Charitable Trust.

The Study was prepared by Crosskey Architects, Hartford, CT and Camion Associates, Saratoga Springs, NY.  The GLPT commissioned the study in its ongoing effort to determine the best and most feasible future use of the former Litchfield County Courthouse.  Although the study provides a starting point for the consideration of potential uses, the Trust will not necessarily adopt the study’s recommendations and will consider other suggested alternatives.”
